BAD ADVICE & USELESS TIPS

Bad advice in the Woman’ Day magazine

Do not follow these suggestions.

Women’s magazines are full of bad advice.

Here, the editors of Woman’ Day magazine advise to paint terracotta pots with acrylic paints and leftover nail polish.

Why is it a bad advice?

Although the final effect looks attractive, the use of acrylic paints and nail polish destroys the benefit of terracotta pots. Terracotta breaths, and because it breaths, it is beneficial for the plants. Roots need oxygen. They sweat in plastic and in other pots made of unbreathable material. So if you want to paint your plant pot don’t bother buying terracotta. It defeats the purpose of these pots. Just buy plastic pots.
