I visited the Ponyride Market in August.

This market is an offshoot of a business incubator for Southeast Michigan’s maker community. It’s held five times a year at 1401 Vermont St in Detroit. You can buy things that are not available in chain stores. They offer vintage, salvage, handmade goods, homemade food and drinks. Here are a few highlights.
